2026 National Rally - 17th May

This year we have chosen National Trust's Stourhead House and Gardens near Mere, Wiltshire BA12 6QD. Whilst there will be no organised runs on the Saturday, the area around Stourhead offers lots to see and do prior to the rally on the Sunday. You can visit Longleat Safari Park, or maybe take a drive down the A303 to Sparkford and visit the Haynes Motor Museum. Perhaps you may want to visit historic Bath around half an hour away. About an hour’s drive north is Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill. The venue belongs to the National Trust, therefore access will either be free for Trust members, or payable on entrance for those who are not members of the Trust.

All participants need to book their place at the rally, which will be £15.00 for Guild members and £18.00 for those who are not Guild members. To book your place at the rally, please use the booking link on this home page. This booking link will be active from 20th January. You will be taken to the event booking form where you enter your details and then pay by credit/debit card. Alternatively, please contact Graham Cook to make your booking and send a cheque. Graham is a Guild member who has offered to support the booking and associated processes of this event. His phone number is 07922 107663.

To make this an enjoyable weekend by staying before and after the rally day on the 17th, Guild members can take advantage of a discounted room rate at Royal Chase Hotel In Shaftesbury (the home of the Hovis advert). Full details for this attractive offer can be found in the Guild's Overdrive magazine.

An optional informal meal at the hotel has been arranged for the evening of the 16th. The menu options and booking information will be sent out with the rally pack which should arrive shortly after making your rally booking.

If you have any questions, please contact Ken Newton, Events Officer, on  or 07957 715884

About the Guild

The Rover P4 Drivers' Guild was formed in 1977 to cater for owners of the Rover 60, 75, 80, 90, 95, 100, 105, and 110 range of cars manufactured between 1950 and 1964. The aim of the Guild is to help P4 owners to preserve their cars for regular use by assisting them to locate spares, literature, advice, competent mechanics and other services to keep their cars in a roadworthy condition.

Overdrive Magazine

The Guild magazine "Overdrive" is published every two months; it contains maintenance hints and tips, repair information, members' experiences, lists of events, local meetings and classified advertisements.

Regional Branches

Several regional branches have evolved to hold regular monthly meetings, organise local rallies, and to provide self-help between members.

Rallies

A list of meetings and contacts can be found in "Overdrive". The Guild organises several rallies throughout the warmer months, often in conjunction with other Rover clubs.

Merchandise

The Guild offers a range of official regalia and remanufactured parts. More details of these can be found in "Overdrive".
